This wonderful little car is the same model that my father
and his best friend were driving on the day that they
spotted two beautiful gals and asked them to lunch.  
Wouldn't you know it, the guys and gals fell for each
other!  

I looked for a long time to find a '28 Whippet 96 in good
condition, and finally did a few years ago.  It makes me
smile just to see this car and think of how my parents
met.

The car's in fairly good shape, and runs well.  I need to
do some touch-up work on the outside and redo the
interior, and then this will be ready for a Sunday
afternoon cruise!
