This is a solid-bodied 1973 Mercury Cougar Convertible.  It
was running when I bought it a few years ago, and I've had
it garaged ever since ... one of my projects!  Now I've
decided to let this one go so that I can focus on the things
I've already got going.  At the end of the month (May) I'll
find out it the car still starts up.  I'm guessing that it will
with just a little coaxing!

This car is a standard convertible (as verified by the serial
number) even though it's got the XR7 badging.  As far as I
can tell, this car has been garage or warehouse kept (out of
the elements) - it's solid and straight, a real dream for a
project.
